If you’ve read my precious reviews on Me Before You and After You you’d know how much I love this series! I was so happy to know there’ll be a third book, and you can imagine how delighted I am now that I got to read the first chapter of Still Me.

I knew I’d get into much heartache reading only the first chapter sample as i’d definitely want more while the release date is still ahead. But, honestly!! I couldn’t help myself…reading about Louisa again is like meeting an old friend you haven’t seen for ages. I miss her that much.

The opening of this book, Still me, is everything I hoped for. I’m so glad to read Louisa‘s doing okay, building a life and a new career in New York. Oh!! and we definitely can’t forget about Nathan 😉

I’m excited to read the entire book to discover what kind of new adventure will Louisa get into..and also to know about her family and Sam (her paramedic BF)

I’m new to this author! I’m glad I got offered the chance to read this ARC. The story is fresh and enjoyable, with strong characters.

Bailey and Cash have an amazing chemistry and strong love. They both had issues while growing up. When Bailey choses to stand up for a person and ends up getting fired for that, Cash steps in offering her a job which she didn’t refuse. Working together in the same work place offers them the chance to grow close, seeing a new side of each other they didn’t know about.

It’s a fun story about overcoming fear and stepping out of your comfort zone. It also include just the right amount of steamy scenes.

If you’re looking for a touching story with a happily ever after, I recommend you this!!

December TBR

Hello my bookworm friends. How is it going?

I’d like to start off by wishing you a happy Decmber! Can you believe 2017 is almost out? Wow.

Lately, I’ve been feeling unmotivated to do anything, whether it’s book related (Reading, reviewing…etc) or life related in general. I’m being a couch potato.

For this month’s read, I’m gonna try to finish the ARCs I’ve got at hand. Then I’ll definitely finish these lovely books by the end of the current year:

The Day She Cried – K. Webster

36321070.jpgShe was my first love.
She was my first hate.
The very sun in my world tried to burn me alive with her lies and cruelty.
Until I dimmed her light for good…
Or so I thought.

Now she’s back.
Cracked. Broken. Lost.
And for the first time in a long time, I feel free.
Free from our past. Free from my present that suffocates me. Free to destroy her future.

Her misery is my music.
Thrilling. Invigorating. Intoxicating.

For so long, all I’ve done is hate her.
So why do I love her?

Sick Fux – Tillie Cole

When Ellis Earnshaw and Heathan James met as children, they couldn’t have been more different. Ellis was loud and beautiful – all blond hair, bright laughs and smiles. Heathan was dark and brooding, and obsessed with watching things die.
The pair forged an unlikely friendship, unique and strange. Until they were ripped apart by the sick cruelty of others, separated for years, both locked in a perpetual hell.
Eleven years later, Heathan is back for his girl. Back from a place from which he thought there was no return. Back to seek revenge on those who wronged them.
Time has made Heathan’s soul darker, polluted with hatred and the thirst for blood.
Time has made Ellis a shell of her former self, a little girl lost in the vastness of her pain.
As Heathan pulls Ellis out of her mental prison, reviving the essence of who she once was, down the rabbit hole they will go.
With malice in their hearts and vengeance in their veins, they will seek out the ones who hurt and destroyed them.
One at a time.
Each one more deadly than the last.
Tick Tock.

It Ends with Us – Colleen Hoover

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up – she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan – her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

Black Hearts – Karina Halle

For Vicente Bernal, truth is all he’s known. The son of an infamous drug lord, Vicente was born to help run the family business, which means he’s been raised on a throne of sordid pasts and dirty laundry, violence and pride. But when Vicente stumbles across someone he’s not supposed to know about – a woman from his father’s checkered past – he sets out to California to find her behind his father’s back.
What Vicente doesn’t expect to find in San Francisco is Violet McQueen, the woman’s twenty-year old daughter. Beautiful and edgy with a vulnerability he can’t resist, Violet tempts Vicente from afar and though he promised himself he’d stay away from her, curiosity and lust are powerful forces. Besides, Vicente has always gotten everything he wants – why shouldn’t he have Violet too?

Soon his wants turn into an obsession, one that sweeps Violet into his games as they fall madly, deeply in love with each other, the type of first love that can drive a person mad.

But it’s a love with tragic consequences.

Both the truth – and the lies – not only threaten to tear them apart, but threaten their very lives.

Someone has to pay for the sins of the fathers.
And they’ll be paying the price with their souls.

This book was sent to me I exchange of an honest review

Libra Rising is a new read from a total new author I just got to discover.
The blurb is interesting enough, my interest is piqued. This is a standalone story told in dual POV.

While reading, I devided this story into two parts; First part includes the teenage years of Reed and Harper and their first meeting.
Harper has big dreams of going to law scool, she’s a good girls and a hard worker. Meanwhile, Reed is sent to rural indian after landing in juvie.
They meet and the two start developing feelings falling for each other until, sadly, tragedy and circumstances break them apart.
Second part happens years later when Reed is back WITH a secret. Care to know more about the story? Give it a read

It’s a fun read with a great stoyline, heartbroking yet hearty at the same time. It has a  nice flow and it’s relatable as well.

I would totally recommend it!!
